This long beach may have pebbles but it is an increasingly popular destination for Greeks with its easy access from Athens via the bridges at Halkida. The backdrop of the mountains and great views towards the mainland provide a lovely atmosphere for families to enjoy the tavernas, restaurants and coffee bars along the front.
